NRA UK Team to the Channel Islands - 2015

NRA Team v LMRA Team

The tour commences on Tuesday 19 May 2015 with a match against a team from the London & Middlesex Rifle Association, at Bisley

Depart for Channel Islands

The team travels to the Channel Islands by ferry from Poole on Wednesday, departing 13:30 and arriving 16:30

Sark

The team arrives in the Channel Islands on Wednesday evening, so will spend Thursday enjoying a trip to Sark

Individual competitions (Guernsey)

The shooting commences with individual competitions at the picturesque Guernsey Rifle Club range at Fort Le Marchant. Hopefully the locals are not in belligerent shooting mood for this opening foray

Team match NRA v GRC

The team matches commence between NRA and GRC on the morning of 23 May. NRA Team departs by ferry to Jersey at approximately 17:30

Individual competitions (Jersey)

Sunday is an early start at Les Landes range at 06:00 for range preparation and long-range shoot at 07:00. In the afternoon the short-range shoots take place at Crabbé range

Individual & Team competitions (Jersey)

The 25th May is the last day of shooting and consists of further individual competitions in the morning at Crabbé Range, followed by a Team match (NRA v JRA) in the afternoon. There is a formal dinner in the evening at which the NRA's team adjutant Dave Crispin will sing Che Gelida Manina, from Puccini's La Boheme

Jersey - meet the locals

The team has a final recreation day today, during which we'll get to see some of the Island and hopefully not annoy too many people with our tourist-antics

Return to Bisley

The team returns from the Channel Islands by ferry on Wednesday (departing 15:00)
